Vendor Onboarding Policy

Redtronix Infra Pvt Ltd  · Updated On April 2026

Connecting buyers to sellers across shop, property, motors, jobs, and services is what Redtronix does as a multi-vendor marketplace while handling the technology infrastructure that makes those transactions possible. Anything ourselves we do not buy or sell. Legally and practically, that means your responsibility to manage is what happens between you and your customers. Before you apply, read this document, which sets out what we expect before you register, what's permitted on the platform, and where the lines are.

1. Who Can Sell on Redtronix

Provided it meets the regulatory requirements for that product type, falls within a category Redtronix has approved, and is legal to sell in India, you can list anything. Before you list, you need to have it if the law requires it—FSSAI registration for food products, BIS certification for electronics, drug licenses where the category demands it. Vendor applications are every single one reviewed by us. Approved accounts are not the ones that don't meet eligibility. Terminated without giving advance notice are existing accounts that fall out of compliance after onboarding, as we reserve the right to make that call.

2. What We Need at Registration

To understand this segment with professional and legal details, valid variations for necessary documents are mandatory, with the following:

  • Proprietorship Business: KYC, Trade Licence/ MSME, GST (if your proprietor requires it)
  • Partnership Business: KYC of partners, PAN, Trade Licence/ MSME, Partnership Deed, GST mandatory
  • Private Limited and Limited: KYC of directors, MOA, AOA, PAN of the company, GST mandatory

-Crucial for all of these aforementioned fields is it to highly remember that a “Cancelled Cheque or Passbook of Business Account” is essential.

Update it in your dashboard if your bank account changes, your address moves, or your GST registration status shifts. Grounds for suspension—not a minor admin issue—is stale or wrong information held against an active account.

3. What You Can and Cannot List

Can do: Secure it prior to publishing, and therefore you must whenever local law mandates a permit—FSSAI clearance for food items, BIS certification for electronic goods, or drug licenses for medical lines—as you may list any item that complies with all relevant industry regulations, fits within an approved Redtronix category, and is permissible under Indian law.

Can't do: Deleted immediately without warning are illegal posts, which include Counterfeit or Replica items, goods violating active trademarks or copyrights, materials deemed offensive or libelous, products prohibited under Indian statutes, or items barred by our separate category handbooks. Following the initial strike, we offer no second chances, as permanent profile suspension is triggered by future infractions.

4. Pricing and Inventory

All applicable taxes must be included in the prices you set—and then add it later in the checkout flow is not what you should do by displaying a price that excludes GST. Prohibited are artificially inflated prices with fictitious discount percentages. Part of it we don't want to be, as consumer protection regulators have taken action against platforms and sellers for exactly this.

What you actually have on hand needs to be reflected by your listed inventory count. Either poor operations or deliberate overbooking is signaled by cancelling orders repeatedly because stock ran dry—and the account gets suspended by enough of them, which leads to penalties.

6. Orders, Shipping, and Returns

You must ship items within the timeline you committed to when listing. Pack your products properly—if an item arrives broken because the packaging was inadequate, it is your liability, not ours or the customer's. If the customer receives an item that does not match your listing description, they will receive a refund, and that cost will sit with you.

Returns must follow the platform's published return policy. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, you are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds must be processed back through the original payment method; substituting store credit in place of a monetary refund is only acceptable if the customer specifically requests it.

7. Payments and Settlements

All payments are processed through Redtronix's payment system. We are not a bank or a financial institution. Settlements will be released on the cycle agreed upon during your onboarding, following platform fees and applicable tax deductions.

Payout holds may occur during open disputes, fraud investigations, chargebacks, or active policy reviews. We will notify you whenever a hold is placed and explain the reason behind it. Do not expect funds to move while an investigation remains open. Once the issue is resolved, settlements will resume within our published timeframe.

8. Platform Rules

Accounts will be closed immediately for any of the following violations: manipulating your own ratings or reviews, submitting fake reviews through alternate accounts, uploading false product information, running multiple vendor accounts to game search rankings, scraping or attempting to reverse-engineer the platform, or engaging in any activity that constitutes fraud under Indian law. We actively monitor the platform for these behaviors, and the decision to terminate an account rests solely with us.

Customers have the right to leave public reviews, and you are welcome to respond professionally. However, you cannot incentivize positive reviews or threaten customers who leave negative feedback. Accounts caught doing this will be terminated immediately and may be reported to relevant consumer protection bodies.

9. Data and Privacy

All customer personal data—including addresses, contact details, and transaction records—that flows through your vendor account must be handled in strict compliance with applicable data protection laws. This information is collected solely for order fulfillment. Using it for any other purpose is a direct breach of this policy and potentially a violation of the law. Do not store sensitive customer data outside of what the platform captures on your behalf.

10. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts for policy violations, legal non-compliance, unpaid platform dues, or fraudulent activity. Certain data will be retained after termination for audit and legal purposes; simply closing your account does not automatically delete this history. If you believe your account was suspended incorrectly, you can raise an appeal through our grievance process. We review these cases manually; it is not handled by an automated system.

11. Intellectual Property

All platform content, technology, and trademarks belong exclusively to Redtronix. You retain full ownership of the content you upload, including your product images, descriptions, and listings. By listing your items on the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content for display, promotion, and operational purposes.

12. Liability

We are not liable for any disputes that arise between you and your customers, nor are we responsible for product defects, delivery failures, or financial losses stemming from your use of the platform. If liability is established against us in any matter, it will be strictly capped at the total platform fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through our internal grievance process will be referred to mandatory arbitration in Kolkata, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

14. Acceptance

Clicking "I Agree" during registration confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms—it indicates that you didn't just scroll past them. If any part of this policy is unclear, please reach out to us for clarification before you complete your registration.
